This kit contains 1 x Robohaat Motor Shield which is a very useful shield with standard components. It contains two L293D motor drivers and one 74HC595 shift register. The shift register expands 3 pins of the Arduino to 8 pins to control the direction for the motor drivers. The output enable of the L293D is directly connected to PWM outputs of the Arduino. 2 connections for 5V ‘hobby’ servos connected to the Arduino’s high-resolution dedicated timer,1 x Robohaat IR Sensor which is a multipurpose infrared sensor which can be used for obstacle sensing, line sensing, etc. and also as an encoder sensor. The sensor provides a digital output. The sensor outputs a logic one (+3.5V) at the digital output when an object is placed in front of the sensor and logic zero (0V), when there is no object in front of the sensor. An onboard LED is used to indicate the presence of an object. This IR proximity or obstacle sensor is designed to work with almost all Arduino boards and microcontrollers – AVR, PIC, 8051, ARM. 2 x BO Motors-Single Shaft Plastic Gear Motor – BO series L Shape motor gives good torque and rpm at lower operating voltages, which is the biggest advantage of these motors. Small shaft with matching wheels give optimized design for your application or robot. Mounting holes on the body & light weight makes it suitable for in-circuit placement. 2 x BO Motor Wheels of 7.2 cm BO wheel which is suitable for BO motor provide help in motion of the robot.2 x Metal castor wheels that help to rotate or in changing direction when instruction is given or sense obstacles.6 x F to F jumper wires that are good to wire harness or jumpering between headers on PCB’s. These premium jumper wires are 8″ (20cm) long.
